Today was the first time I had been out of the house in two days. I visited the yarn store to pick up supplies for a few new projects. Lately, I am inspired by pixies and autumn forests. On the way up the stairs to my apartment I saw this cute little lichen lying on the ground. Perhaps I will knit some lichen inspired things.
I am still looking for work in Charleston, but I am trying to keep my chin up and make the most of my time. If I can't work I will create.
I decided to take a walk through the park. It was quiet and damp. I love the way the rain drops hang on the branches of the trees and sit on top of the plants.
After my walk I ate some delicious homemade soup and read an email from a friend that I hadn't heard from in a while. She was in my mind just a few days ago. Funny how things like that work.
